When I first saw this picture, I thought I had already posted it because of the bugle.  Turns out, 

however, that this is completely different group, and even the bugle appears to be different.

This looks like one of those mass outdoor VD exams.

 

Wipe Your Feet

Foot hygiene is very important when marching all the time, so the signage here is not surprise.  

Wartime mobile showers often had anti-fungal and/or antiseptic foot washes.

Here's another medical exam.  This time the ears are the focus.

Here we have a trio of derriere showoffs, one of whom has a injured hand.

 

Swedes

These fellows are supposed to be Swedes at a 1980-ish chemical decontamination drill.

 

Germany 1941

All I know about this one is that it was shot in Germany in 1941.

Mr. Frontandcenter is not at all bashful.

 

U.S. Inductees

Our last photo is undated and shows some U.S. inductees getting their first showers as soldiers.

The crew cuts make me think it was post-World War II, but the plumbing looks older.

Dick Falcon - With a Little Help from My Friends

At more than one point in the past, I lamented my lack of material by Dick Falcon.  Fortunately I acquired some with a little help from my friends Bryan B and Brian E.  (Yes, I know that could get confusing, but I do my best to keep them sorted.)  So today we'll look at a mix of my own finds and the kind donations of these two gentlemen.  If you want info on Mr. Falcon's background and career, click on the "Dick Falcon" entry in the right hand column of this page.  We start with what is felt by many to be a self portrait of Dick Falcon made with a timer.

Bryan B provided this lovely reclining African-American model.

 

Double Castanets

It looks like both these guys are playing invisible castanets, and the kneeling one has tucked his package between his thighs.  I guess Mr. Falcon couldn't convince him to show it all.

 

Brian E I

Our first contribution by Brian E features a model who looks familiar.

Could he have posed for Al Urban or Lon?

The posing of this model with a pencil thin mustache reminds me of Kovert of Hollywood.

Dom Lodato

Having been a competitive bodybuilder himself, Mr. Falcon produced some creditable publicity photos.  Above, we see Dom Lodato, Mr. Florida of 1963 and holder of several other titles.

 

Brian E II

Here's another one sent by Brian E., and it's a relatively rare Dick Falcon derriere shot.

 

Arm breakers

These two seem to have spent some time trying to break each other's arms in front 

of Dick Falcon's camera, seeing as how he took several photos of them doing it.
