Skinny Dipping, Part 1 - The Old Swimming Hole

Today we have a two part skinny dipping series.  We begin with some early 20th Century men at old fashioned swimming spots.  We start with a young man about to heave a rock.

Ready to go in

We can see where this fellow dropped his clothes,
and now he's ready to go in the water.

Swan dive

Classic swan dive with an added feature.

Beefy Buns

Beefy buns looks like he's walking on water, but it's just the shallow end.

Back Flip

We close part one with a young man doing a back flip off a diving board.

Skinny Dipping, Part 2 - Poolside Nudists

Part two of Skinny Dipping Day is all about poolside nudists.
We start with a happy looking Australian.

Swim Meet

This gang shot looks like a nude men's swim meet.

Color

Our only color photo of the days leaves a lot to be desired in terms of clarity.
I will not, however, complain about the male.

Chatting Up

I think these two guys are chatting up a female (or two) off to their left.

Ball

Our last poolside nudist is handing a small ball to someone out of the frame.
I've never seen a pool toy like that . . . if that's what it is.

Hairy Dudes

Today we will look at 11 photos of hairy men about which I know nothing.  That is exactly the sort of wallpaper that Miss Magnolia Thunderpussy would have a fit over . . . and not in a good way.

Chest and mustache

The chest and mustache approach perfection,
but most of you are looking at something else.

Grooming

Good grooming is important.

Have we met before?

This is one of several men in today's series who look familiar.

Porn star?

If this guy wasn't a porn star, he should have been one.

Carpet grass

I can't tell if this fellow is lying on grass or carpet.
Maybe it was carpet grass, an actual type.

Happy Guy

This one may be past my vintage cutoff date, but I don't care.
There are too many things here to list that I like.

Haiy Behind

This type of photo always gets a certain response.

At the window

I feel like I should know this guy standing next to a broken window.

Coy

I get a coy vibe from this one.

Drenched

In our final hairy dude photo, a fine looking fellow is cooling off in what looks like a pool waterfall.

Pat Rocco Day

Pat Rocco is one of my favorite figures from the Gay Rights movement as well as being a fine photographer, director, singer, and author.  Plus he wasn't bad looking himself.  We will see
some of his handiwork today, starting with the selfie above from Bizarre Productions.

Borrowed Unknown

I borrowed this Pat Rocco shot made in the hay from James IV at Men From Back Then .
The model, alas, is unknown.
Thanks, James!

Original and Ad Versions

Above we have the original, but crappy quality, publicity photo of Ross Judd, Jr. for the Rocco movie Sex and the Single Gay."  Below, how it appeared in an advertisement.

Live Production

This is a scene from one of the many live stage production that Pat Rocco and SPREE put on.
Eduardo Raya is cutting Paul Bach's hair, and I love the expression on Paul's face.

Paul

I found this photo of a man identified only as Paul on the Pat Rocco page of a gay history website.  Oddly, the otherwise well curated site had no information on him other than his first name.
I'd really like to see more of him, and I mean that in more than one way.

Danny and Arnie

Danny Combs and Arnie Castelli appeared in a Pat Rocco film called The Challenge.
You can read about in the text section of the original ad below.

Gay Film Festival

For several years Pat Rocco held a gay film festival at LA's Park Theatre.  Most of the films were his own, but he did include other film makers at times and even had an amateur competiton.

With Jim Cassidy

Here we see Pat Rocco in a light moment with porn actor Jim Cassidy.
I wonder if he actually poured the beer on Jim's crotch?

Ron Dilly

Another Movie Ad

A color tint overlay was a gimmick Pat Rocco used more than once in ads promoting his movies. I was tempted to convert it to black and white, but decided to let you all see the original version.
I'm assuming the guy in this one is Lee Warren, given that he got top billing.
