G-Rated Hairy Guys

Today we look at some hairy men in G-rated photos.  We start with an advert for a self
improvement method called Psychokenisis (sic).  I don't hold out a a alot of hope
for success seeing as how they misspelled the name of the treatment.
Oh, and the broad looks like she's giving him the finger.

Minimal grin

We get a minimal grin from this young man whom
the online snapshot seller called "affectionate."

Massage

This is an interesting little massage scene, as there's a fully
dressed female on the bed in the background.

Coney Island

This was taken by Harry Lapow at Coney Island in 1962.

Bear on the Rocks

I call this one Bear on the Rocks, and it's one of my two favorites of the day.
See if you can guess my other favorite by leaving a comment on it.

Pool catch

"I caught this in the pool after the last hurricane."

Athletic Mug Shot

Although I'm pretty sure this is an athlete,
it looks a little like a mugshot.

Coconut home hither

This guy lounging on a coconut tree trunk
is giving us a "come hither" look.

Reader

This fellow looks like he's reading a large format magazine.

Swedes

Ending the set with two burly Swedish water polo players who look like brothers.

Jean Ferrero Day

Featuring the work of Jean Ferrero today, and we start with the only unknown model in the set.

Daniel, Bill, and Raf

These three are (l-r) Daniel Cartier, Bill Franci, and Raf Toyo.

Jean Daniel

Jean Ferrero took Jean Daniel to the beach to shoot this one.

Gino

The only name I can find for this attractive model is Gino.
He looks like he's going into an ecstatic state.

Christian, Jean, John, and Bud

Here we see, left to right, Christian Ferrand, Jean Ferrero, John Tristram, and Bud Lanter.

Francois Rossi

I like Francois Rossi's expression here.

Jacques Mathe

Jacques Mathe was Mr. France of 1963,

Rick Wayne

The very well built Rick Wayne was photographed on a number of occasions
by Jean Ferrero.  He won Mr. Universe no less than four times in the 1960s,
and went on to a successful career as a journalist and publisher.

Jeff Dirbaum

Here we see Jeff Dirbaum grabbing a tree branch somewhere on the Riviera.

Something special

This is a portrait Jean Ferrero took of his friend and fellow photographer Cesar.
It's beautiful, and I wonder if they were more than just friends.
You can see a photo of them together here:

Early 20th Century

Making another visit to the early 20th Century today, beginning with this
photo I found on a French website with no information.

More, please!

I'd really like to see more of these two guys.

Set or Natural?

I'm not sure if this was made in a natural area or a very well done set.

Tree Hugger

This fellow seems to be taking a different approach to tree hugging.

A Feast for the Bum Brigade

I call this on A Feast for the Bum Brigade.  We seem to have five different men in similar poses.

Albert Brunin

French gymnastics champion Albert Brunin appeared in this photo
from the the French Sports Federation Review.

Lurich

This rather unusually posed strong man shot is of Estonian Georg Lurich.

Handsome Ad Man

Here we see a handsome man whose job it was to carry a sign strapped to his back around Paris in 1912.  He was promoting a play called "The Man Who Saw the Devil."  Had I been in town,
I would have gawked at the man and totally missed the ad's message.

This one makes me think of Paul Richer's work, but it only came with a year, 1906.
As is so typical these days with frontal nudes, Google Images search was useless.

Proportional

Is it just me, or does this guy's derriere look out of proportion to the rest of him?
Not that there's anything wrong with that.  Some of you probably like it.

The Barber's Manual

We see a dapper gentleman with a Van Dyke in this illustration from The Barber's Manual
by A.B. Moler.  Try as I might, I can only find a very few other drawings from the book.

Textbook?

This closing photo looks like something from an anatomical textbook, but I could find no
information on it.  There's a watermark of some sort at lower left, but I can't make it out.
