Ten by Ten Again

Posting ten photos by ten of my favorite photographers today in alphabetical order by artist.
We start with a good color photo of Roni Dartezo by Bob Mizer of AMG.

Denny Denfield

An unknown model posed on sheet on a parquet floor for Denny Denfield.

Douglas of Detroit

Stan Stanczyk always looked great when posing for Doug Juleff, aka Douglas of Detroit.

Ferrero by Ferrero

Jean Ferrero took this photo of Rod Ferrero,
and as far as I know, they are not related.

Kovert

This Kovert of Hollywood photo is the second of three unknown models in today's series.

Lon of New York

The well used column instantly tells us that this picture of an unknown
model is by Lon of New York, aka Alonzo Hanagan.

Dave Martin

The oil in this photo of Bob Miller by Dave Martin doesn't bother me at all.

Pat Milo

The minimalist background works in this Pat Milo photo of Chester Ford.

Russ Warner

Neel Bate, an artist in his own right and model for George Platt Lynes,
posed for Russ Warner with a wagon wheel and a statuette.

Western Photography Guild

Finishing up with Hunter Metcalf by Don Whitman of Western Photography Guild.

Middle Age Nudist Day

It's middle aged nudist day, and we start with a man in quite good shape.

Ankle Deep

Our subject here seems to be ankle deep in the ocean on a day with very little surf.

Golf

These two are playing golf without the benefit of grass.

Water Pump

I think this gentleman is operating some sort of water pump.

Wedding Ring and Budweiser

I don't know why, but this guy with a wedding ring and a Budweiser looks familiar.

French

This is supposed to be an indoor shower at a French nudist resort.

Trophy Winners

These two Aussies have won trophies for something.

Prickly Pear Workout

The backdrop for this handsome man's workout is a patch of prickly pear cactus, aka opuntia.  My sister got thrown off  her horse once into a prickly pear thicket, and it took our mother hours to pull all the thorns out of her.  The upside of having all that stuff around was that Mama made really good jam out of the fruits.  Processing the fruit was an arduous process, though.  During severe droughts, I had every 12 year old boy's dream job, riding around on a tractor with a flame thrower to burn off the thorns so the cows would have something to eat.  I had an interesting childhood.

Floater

I don't recall ever having seen a float like that one.
I have, however, seen a few men like him.

Familiar

Ending the set with a fellow who looks like a 1950s TV actor who played bit parts as very ordinary fathers and/or office workers.  I can't for the life of me remember his name, though.

Mark Wolf Day

Mark Wolf is a late 1970s model and actor whose career came and went rather quickly.
He did, however, do some memorable work, so he gets  his own series today.

Bunkhouse

Mark Wolf made the cover of Bunkhouse magazine's first issue.  I don't know
how long this iteration lasted, but the name popped up again in the 90s when
the same incompetent crew who ran Bear magazine took it up.

aka Mark Brandon

This photo is Mark Wolf under his second performing name, Mark Brandon.  Both those names
were pirated decades later by two different (and less attractive) porn performers.

Ruins

Whoever took this posed Mark Wolf in a ruined window.
You'll see another shot from the same session later today.

Cruising

The title sounds like this was a travel guide, but I'm sure it wasn't.  Poor Mark Wolf didn't even
get cover billing, and he's wearing the same outfit they used in Bunkhouse.

Window Seat

This shot of Mark in a window seat looks like Playgirl material.

With Paul Barresi

Here we see Mark Wolf being grabbed by Paul Barresi.

Handling

Handling his own goods.

Bunkhouse II

Closing our Mark Wolf series with another image from Bunkhouse.
