Paul Poronides Day

A while back, I lamented my lack of photos of Jean Ferrero model Paul Poronides.  As is so 

often the case, I shortly heard from Brian E, who generously offered to send me his collection.  

So today I'm posting ten of them, starting with this kneeling shot.

Even when shoving a tree trunk, Paul looks good.

 

Big ball

This is the second of three photos today showing Mr. Poronides with a large ball.

 

Encounter

When I first saw this photo of Paul Poronides, I let my imagintion run free

and had a vision of encountering him like this on a remote mountain trail.

 

Armpits

I know several of you will appreciate the underarm views in this photo.

 

Bridge

Here we see Paul Poronides bridging a gap in the rocks with his arms.

 

Simple

Sometimes a simple pose is all it takes with a fine model.

 

Kneeling

Jean Ferrero used a kneeling modified flex pose quite effectively here.

Mr. Poronides, as usual, looks quite pleased to be there.

 

Tossing the ball

Even from a distance, we can see that Mr. Poronides enjoys tossing that beach ball.

 

Hands on Hips

The last picture in our Paul Poronides series shows him in a modified hands on hips pose.

Tan Lines

Hopefully someone will ID this handsome guy.  Google Images search was no help.

 

Tyler Horn

Between the Australian clone magazine Cleo and the fact that several of my randoml 70s color photos of hairy men turned out to be Playgirl men, this almost became a Playgirl set.  This handsome, smiling fellow is Tyler Horn, and he's the first of three PG models in this set that I know of.

Construction Guy

This one is not as hairy as most in today's set by far, but I included the unknown model posing as a construction worker because of the happy trail leading to that superb bush.

Here's another Playgirl man.  This time it's Danny Harrington from 1977.

I think this is from Honcho magazine during the stretch when they didn't ID their models

I like the photo below better than the composite above, but I had to include the corny caption.

 

Not Mr. Kelso

My dodgy source identified this cowboy as Steve Kelso.

I'm not at all convinced of that.

 

Morley Rolhaeuser

I found this unidentified on a random website and kept thinking he looked familiar.

Well, for once Google Image Search came through, and I learned that this is

retired 70s football star Morley Rolhaeuser from Playgirl.

Blogger Favorites I - Middle Age Nudists

Dan M from Nashville hit me up on the contact form and requested that I post some of my 

favorite photos and/or art works.  I've done that a few times in the past, and I always felt 

like I was leaving some good ones out.  So this time around I'm taking a new approach.  

I will do an ongoing series called Blogger Favorites and focus on a different category 

each time.  Having said that, I will probably leave out some good ones, but let's start with 

one of my favorite themes, midle age nudists.  The man above used the same camera, a 

Rolleiflex twin lens, that I used as the photographer for my high school yearbook. 

But I'm sure that hardly any of you are looking at the camera.

 

Everyman

I included this fellow because he is simply a pleasant everyman type.

The ordinary can be extraordinary if we allow it.

 

Official

This gentleman was some sort of official in the nudist community.  I have a lot of photos 

of him presiding over various meetings, sign-ins, and pageants.  This, alas, 

is the best shot I have that shows him from head to toe.

 

Duo

I have to say this is probably my all-time favorite nudist photo.

The guy at right makes me swoon.

 

Trio

I find a lot to like about this trio.

 

Coach

This guy looks amazingly like my 10th Grade PE teacher, and I mean down to the last detail. 

Showering with him was the highlight of my school day.

 

Mr. Charm

I call the subject of our final four photos Mr. Charm.  You'll see why in a moment.

Here he's helping a female climb a ladder.

I cropped our last image of Mr. Charm from a larger picture where he was helping a female 

to climb a ladder.  What that had to do with charm school, I don't know.

 

The old book trick

I call this guy Mr. Charm both because he looks charming and because he's in some of his photos

 he's doing that old charm school routine of balancing a book on a young female's head.  

Unfortunately, in most of those his fine body is blocked by the girls.

Gentleman

Always a gentleman, Mr. Charm is reaching to help a female coming down some steps.

 

Balance Achieved

Was all that balancing leading up to building a human pyramid?
