James and Company

This handsome fellow was photographed by an outfit called James and Company.  

I've only found three other photos by this group, but would love to have more.

 

Walking away

The model here seems to be walking away, but if this was part of a motion study,

I haven't been able to find any other photos from the sequence.

 

Emile Deriaz

Here we see Emile, one of the seven Deriaz Brothers of Switzerland.

He was also know as The Modern Samson.

The only info I have on today's twofer is "San Francisco, 1915."

Google says these fellows are French and part of either a military or medical examination.

Either way, a couple of them don't look too happy about being there.

John Barrington Quarterly Series

Another quarterly classic era physique set today, and this time it's Englishman John Barrington's turn.  He was known for his shoddy photo finishing and cluttered backdrops, but today's photos 

are somewhat toward the good end of the spectrum in that regard.  We start with 

Ricky Alboni and just a few spots and splotches.

 

Tibor Nosky

A smiling Tibor Nosky presents a pleasant appearance here, and although I might have 

cropped it differently, the photo finishing quality is pretty good.

 

Unknown I

The model here is unknown, but I've seen his abdomen described as a work of art on another blog.

This sprawling unknown model looks so good, I don't even mind the clutter.
