Albert's Blog IV

My friend Albert, aka Coquin Belgium, recently celebrated the first anniversary of his blog.  He has racked up a very respectable number of page views and followers, and I strongly suggest that you visit there if you haven't yet done so.  Just be aware that some of the material is edgier and more hardcore than what I post, something that many will appreciate and enjoy. We start the show with some 1970s streakers, one of whom is wearing only a motorcycle helmet.

 

Sunbath

Here we see some WWII Germans enjoying a sunbath.

 

Stunning

This is one of my all-time favorite images from Albert's blog.  Not only is it technically outstanding in terms of composition and stop action, but the model is nothing less than amazing.

On top of all that, we have a hairy chest and a fine happy trail.

 

Miners

I believe these men are miners, a group to whom Albert has a deep personal connection.

 

Chuck McAmish

This is Chuck McAmish by BobCo.  His blue eyes are striking, even 

in black and white, and his body hair approaches perfection.

 

Woodstock?

Although I wasn't able to verify it, I think this is a scene 

from the traffic jam around Woodstock in 1969.

 

Moose

I can easily imagine this fellow being called "Moose" at some point in his life.

One website identifies him as Jared Brown, but that site is not known for accuracy.

Several searches produced no information on this one, but Bruce of LA 

frequently used balls as props, including one much like this.

Saint Patricks Day, Part One - Assorted Irish-Americans

For Saint Patricks day I have a two parter plus intermission for you.  Part one features Irish-American men and artists, starting with George O'Mara photographed by Chuck Renslow of Kris.

For our last entry in part one, both the photographer, Ralph Kelly, and the model were Irish-American, .  The model is the always pleasing and often smiling Bob Cutlass.

 

Saint Patricks Day - Intermission

This is Irish pub owner Butty Sugrue lifting a supposedly full barren of Guiness.  He did a lot of other stunts and appears again at the end of this intermission.  "Butty" is Irish and Yorkshire slang for a butter sandwich.  Mr. Sugrue must have been quite fond of those.

 

Horace the Irish Hare

Horace the Irish Hare was briefly a celebtity in 1956 when Carl Mydans got some pictures of him into LIFE magazine.  He was the personal pet of the Dublin Zoo director and enjoyed being a house pet.  He was housebroken and would scratch on the kitchen door to get in or out.

Horace would stand on his hind legs for a treat.

Once done with his tricks, he like to relax on a nice wool rug.

 

Butty II

Here we see Butty a second time.  This time he's hefting a woman and her chair with his teeth.  

Butty also did a stunt where tug of war teams of six men tried to pull him apart.

 

Saint Patricks Day, Part 2 - Men Named Sullivan

Sullivan is a fairly common Irish surname, and all of the men in part two of our Saint Patricks Day series bear it.  We start with Jerry as photographed by Bruce of Los Angeles.

In the first of two Sullivans by Dave Martin in part two, we see Scott.

Couldn't do a Sullivan hunk set without one of the last bare knuckles boxers. John L.

Our final man named Sullivan is Wayne as photographed by Vulcan.

 

Poolside Nudists

Just about every nudist resort had a swimming pool, and today's men are all beside one.

We start with a guy who's ignoring the fawning female next to him.

 

Big smile

We get a big smile from this fellow.

 

Oddball

The ball has some sort of odd harness on it.

 

Listening

This guy seems to be earnestly listening to someone.

 

Reaching out

This guy seems to be reaching for something at left.

 

Chatting

I think this guy was chatting up a female off camera right.

 

Grainy

The grainy picture doesn't detract from this well built and proportioned male.

 

Slicked back

This guys has sideburns and slicked back hair.

 

Desert Hillside

The desert hillside backdrop takes precedence over the pool, but not the man.

 

Nerdy

The last poolside nudist of the day is one for those of you who like the nerdy type.
