Random . . . sorta

Today's beef is mostly, but not all, random.  We start with a photo that I've seen attributed
to Bruce Bellas, but the gentleman who did so said it was just a hunch.

-

This one looks like a guy who's coming off a rough night out.

Reaching

The model here is reaching for something.

All over the place

Google was all over the place with this one,
producing results from 1963 to 1990.

Thighs

This is supposed to be from 1912, but that's all I know about it,
except that I like it a whole lot.  Must be those thighs.
Oh, and the stripes.  I like stripes.

Poland 1973

This is cropped from an unknown magazine from 1973.
The model is listed as from Poland.

Star quality

This hairy and bushy fellow who looks to be from 1975-85 has star quality.

Too good

This one seems too good to just be an amateur snapshot,
but I suppose that it might be.

Atlas

Google provided the provenance for this one, but I'm leaving it in the series.
What we have here is the immortal Charles Atlas on a 1929 post card.

Wishing for more

This is another one that leaves me wishing for more.

Boating Day

Today's theme is men in and around boats.
We start with a color photo from a nudist magazine.

Amateur?

This one looks like an amateur snapshot.

Dave Martin?

This is a repeat post from six years ago.  Back then I thought it might
have been by Dave Martin, but I never came across any proof.

Bulges

I almost put this one into a bulges themed set a while back, but saved it for now.

Skipper

Several of you would probably gladly join this skipper for a cruise.

Blond

Here we have a lanky blond.

Group

This looks like a fun loving group, and I wish I had been along for the ride.

Coca Cola

This seafarer has just finished a bottle of Coca Cola.
He may be the best looking man of the series.

Charlie Ram

Rob G. of Houston sent me this and says it's Charlie Ram by Bruce of LA.

The end

For some of you, I've saved the best for the end.

Leslie Lohman Museum

Today I am featuring ten works of art from the Leslie-Lohman Museum dating between 1974 and 1984.  We start with perhaps the most interesting piece in the series, Marion Pinto's 1974 painting of the museum's founders and benefactors, Charles Leslie and Fritz Lohman.

Sandra DeSando

Sandra DeSando drew this beautiful portrait of James Saslow in 1980.

Robert Gable

I can't imagine why Robert Gable didn't give this lovely oil painting from 1978 a title.

William Bjorkman

My Dutch Lover was done by William Bjorkman in 1980.

Michael Kelly

This untitled drawing by Michael Kelly is from 1978.

Gregory Hull

Contrapposto was painted by Gregory Hull in 1984.

Leo Hansberry

Here we have an untitled work from 1978 by Leo Hansberry.

Richard Rosenfeld

This summary is not available. Please click here to view the post.

John Lear

The Builders was painted by John Lear in 1978.

Gilbert Lewis

Our final Leslie-Lohman work is Resting by Gilbert Lewis from 1982.
