Early 20th Century

Going back once again to the period of 1900-1925 for today's posts.
Let's start with this one by Frederick L. Smith.

Fallaize

This one is from the collection of British antropologist Edwin Nichol Fallaize.
Mr. Fallaize was said by some to have used his anthropological pursuits
to acqure and produce erotica.  If true, he wasn't the only one.

Lutz

I think this is a photo study by Austrian painter Anton Lutz.

Hana Studio

This muscular young man posed for an outfit called Hana Studio in 1905.

Theodore Hey

This photo is by Theodore Hey, a photographer by whom I unfortunately
have been unable to find more than one additional photo.

Chemist

I didn't think anybody ever mixed chemicals shirtless, but I'm glad this man did.

Artistic and Anatomical

This model manages to be both artistic and anatomically referential at the same time.
And let's not overlook the between the legs peekaboo.

Athlete?

This guy may have been an athlete, but I have no information.

Leaves and Mirrors

The fig leaves are unfortunate, but the mirror derriere glimpses are nice.
And then there's that look passing between the men.

Haystack

No, our last fellow is not looking for a needle in that haystack.
I think he's having a wash from the bucket in front of him.

Odds and Ends that are Oddities

Our photos today are odds and ends that are also oddities, and we begin with what
I think may have been an initiation ritual for a European motorcycle club.

Mass Nudity

We rarely see this many naked men at once these days, so it fits my oddity category.
I'm guessing that one or more sports teams are involved here, but that's just a hunch.

Smug and hot

The guy at right looks smug, and the one at left knows he's hot.
Why am I thinking "transactional?"  Oh, my dirty mind!

Mystery Studio

This one is an oddity because I can find no record of the gay film company that paid for this splashy ad in a magazine.  The address is currently residential, and the only David Warner I could find even vaguely associated with this owns a construction company.  Maybe he hired some of his models and actors to do building work when the movie thing didn't work out.

Musical Session

This looks like a musical session in a very crowded ship's bunk room.

Clown Suit

I have no idea what's going on here, but that
clown suit looks too big for the naked guy.

Running away

Something must have frightened these two because they're running away.

Lifter

Let your imagination run wild.

Odd lighting

The lighting here makes me think of a low budget horror movie,
and what is that dark band at his waist?  A shadow?

Farmer

Finishing the Odds and Ends series with farming as it should be done.

Kris Studio Day

It's Kris Studio day, and we start with Tom Muscolino.

Bob Kolinski

Even with his crotch covered, Bob Kolinski looks mighty fine.

Steve Reno

Although they may not be the first thing most viewers notice,
Steve Reno's tan lines cannot be overlooked.

Johnny Seaton

The right side of Johnny Seaton is bleached out,
but the picture still shows off his physique.

David Selhime

I like the over the shoulder look that David Selhime gives us here.

Bill Ferguson

Bill Ferguson appeared on the cover of Kris' The Rawhide Male.

Gordon Pitts and Jim Porter

These two are Gordon Pitts and Jim Porter,
and I don't know which is which.

Tom Cowans

Tom Cowans is one of my favorite Kris models.

George O'Mara

George O'Mara appears more frequently in the Kris
portfolio than just about any other model.
